Gospel Praise and Worship Artist, Carine (Carine Liebler) knew she was meant to be a singer since she was a little girl. Having sung and acted in productions growing up and singing in bands during college, she kept the dream alive. She always had a soulful side to her and would listen to R&B radio even though she grew up in the outskirts of a very rural little town.  “I was always the different one, I couldn’t get away from R&B.  I stayed true to who I was; it moved me.” As an adult, Carine set the dream aside and thought of it as just that; a dream.  Once she became a born again Christian, a new hope started to churn inside her: perhaps she could pursue her dream again, since it wouldn’t let her ignore it any longer.  The church where she started her real Christian walk was not a place that would receive her style of music, so the gift lay dormant while she pressed in to the things of God with a severe appetite to grow in Him, all the while knowing she had an assignment in front of her with music.

During a season when Carine was a single parent, she worked as a mobile Disc Jockey, which allowed her to express herself on the microphone and dance (which she secretly did for years in private).  “No one knew I danced until they would see me at a function where I was their DJ encouraging them to dance. I often played Christian club music and Kirk Franklin; boy was I happy to find his music!”  The Lord used her time as a disc jockey to help prepare her for public speaking and energetic expression in front of large audiences.  “That season was dear to me because The Lord showed Himself faithful and true to me.  I had to haul big heavy equipment near and far, but I just enjoyed Jesus on those journeys.”  In 1998 Carine married her husband, Gar, and began attending his church where, again in a rural setting, the musical style was a closed door for her.  She discovered gospel flavored praise and worship music and would continue to practice singing and dancing in her home, privately worshiping The Lord. While growing and caring for her family (she has four children), Carine pursued the rare public opportunities to be who she was in music, and she was often called upon for speaking engagements and choreographed hip-hop dance routines for ministry.

The Holy Spirit reinforced the vision Carine had for music by giving her an open vision containing a line of the song she later wrote; “See The Rainbow.”  That powerful experience was a sign to be pursued, not ignored.  She explains, “Joseph had a dream that eventually did come to pass, but in the time between the revelation to realization, he was persecuted and abandoned.  Joseph’s character, proven by his responses to hardship, qualified him to be at the place of which he dreamed.  I know what that is like, but I held out for God’s plan, and I am now living the vision He gave me. It was a very difficult place to be, but I pursued Him, and our relationship developed so beautifully that I can say I am glad for it all because I grew so much, and there is nothing like the anointing that increased as I cultivated my private worship before Him.”   Eventually God opened doors and put Carine in positions of leadership in worship.

While contemplating the pursuit of a recording project, she never forgot that The Lord told her He had something for her in Detroit .  Six years after hearing that promise, she was connected with producer Noel Hall, who previously produced a couple of Carine’s favorite artists: Fred Hammond and Martha Munizzi.  Carine says it was worth the wait.  “It wasn’t easy to wait so long with so much ministry inside, but it was worth it.  Many of my songs came to me in that place of waiting.”  Carine wrote all but one and a half of the songs on her debut CD “It’s My turn” with some co-writing by Noel Hall, Eric Reed and Eric Shawn.  The project Carine “It’s My Turn” is on the S.B.B.G. Records label, one she and her husband started in Auburn Hills , Michigan

Carine’s path has been paved with the power of praise and worship, which has placed her in a position to minister in the area of destiny, speaking to people about the gift of God that is within them and the power of living a life of worship.  She shares this message at her Praise and Power Encounters, a concert event where Carine ministers in high praise, accompanied by her team of dancers, then preaches from the Word and flows into worship where a move of The Spirit is expected.  The artist shares “These have been very powerful events.  There is an excitement in the music, the choreography surprises and energizes the audience and The Holy Spirit faithfully meets the people in our worship.  I am always so honored to serve The Lord in this unique capacity.”

The song Carine wrote, “We Expect Miracles” has quickly become an anthem in her ministry.  “I truly do expect miracles and agree with The Lord where He said in John 14 that greater works we shall do.” Carine is anointed with a prophetic voice and has a powerful mantle on her.  Prophetic song often flows from her music ministry and she is very passionate about bringing freedom to the people while leading them in the presence of The Holy Spirit.  “The Lord told me to take up His burden for His people, so with that comes a passion to see people saved and set free. It is hard for me not to minister at the altar. I know I won’t always be in a position to do that, but my heart is there with a lot of ministry to release for His Name’s sake, His glory, and because of His intense love for his children. He is a Great God and I love Him with all of me!”

He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. Psalms107:20-22 (NIV)
